Many new breath taking albums have topped the charts this month. The MC known as Jay-z made his way out of retirement to make another bass-pumping mix titled, “Kingdom Come”. The album was released November twenty-first, answering back to his loyal fans. I was expecting this CD to be very good because, “The Black Album” was a work of art. With beliefs from most of the music world that Jay-z was never going to make another album, he shocked the music world by putting out another record. Unfortunately, whether rushed or for other reasons, Jay-z’s new feat has not measured up to his past success. Rolling Stone gave his album a mere three-and-a half stars with average ratings of four. In past years, Jay-z put his, “Black Album” at the top of the charts with five stars.
The artist known as, “Too Short” has also come out with a catchy album by the name of, “The Mack of the Century”. Too Short has recently been making appearances with other big name artists. His music has been undeniably successful, placing himself under the radar for all to see. If you asked me last year if I knew who Too Short was, I would have laughed at his ludicrous name. However, he is featured in a plethora of songs, such as, “Bossy” by Kelis. He is also in the unforgettable song of, “I’m in love with a stripper: part 2”. But, he is famous for his song, “Blow the Whistle”. If you like Too Short, then you should check out his new release. Under personal review, I dealt out a three out of five stars for Too Short’s album.
In other news, Moby has come out with a greatest hit CD named, “Go- The Very Best of Moby”. Moby uses techno music and incorporates other electronic beats. Moby has some very different music, but I like the way how he plays around with the beat and structure. Moby’s music is relaxing to the mind and soul. For me, I personally think the CD is pretty good. The average rating for this album was four-and a half stars.
Bright Eyes have followed the trend by also taking their highest ranked songs and putting them on to one mega mix titled, “Noise Floor (Rarities 1998-2005)”. If you like mellow rock then Bright Eye’s CD is a must have. On the other hand, if you are not a fan of mellow rock then this CD is not up your alley. I am personally not a fan of Bright Eyes, but I do enjoy some of the songs. The average rating for the album was a stunning four out of five stars.

I don’t think Jay-Z’s music is interestin because he raps mostly about what everyone else raps about. The best that i have heard is The Game his music is inspiring and talks about his life and the mistakes that he had made
