It is a mobile phone, and ipod with touch controls, Internet communications device with email, web browsing, maps, and searching. It lets you control everything with just your fingers. The phone is a Cingular exclusive for $499 with a two-year contract. These phones are already the hottest item we’re looking forward too, so save up your money!

i want one but i wouldn’t pay that much for a phone.

the iphone sounds cool and all, but i don’t have the money. If i want to send emails i’ll use my computer. if i want to listen to music, i’ll use my ipod. If i want to take pictures, i’ll use my camera. I don’t want to pay the extra money to get something i already have. However, this phone does sound pretty sweet. I think i might wait till the price goes down. if it ever does.
the iphone seems like the new cool thing to get, but i already have an ipod and dont really need a phone so ill just spend my $500 elsewhere

THIS SEEM LIKE A GREAT CELL PHONE WITH EVERYTHING AT YOUR HAND, BUT I THINK THAT THE TOUCH CENSOR MAY BE TOO SENSITIVE AND PEOPLE WITH NO PATIENCE MAY GET IRRITATED BY THIS PHONE. OTHERWISE I THIN IT IS A PRETTY COOL PHONE.
While I have to admit I definitely would like to have one of those phones, because it just looks incredibly good, I think the price, while understandable considering the parts and technology, it is still enormously high.
too bad the iphone is only available for cingular customers.

The technology that Apple is innovating is astounding. They are leading the tech realm throughout the world and the edition of the iphone is incredible.
it sounds like a great phone but you could’ve given us more information about the phone.
it is just insane how far from an actual telephone these “phones” are becoming. They just get more and more advanced. Seriously, once we get to a certain point, i think you’re going to be able to ride your phone like a bike or a car or something and then just fold it and stick it in your pocket…
I think this article could have been a little longer. But it is well-written and detailed. So it gets the point across. It makes me want to go buy an iPhone.
These phones do have a large amount of buzz surrounding them already. With all of the features they have added, this phone should pass up alot of the smart phones already out there like the Q, Blackjack, and Treo series.
