School for some people is going to a campus, and going to different rooms for different classes. But for others school is waking up in the morning, walking to their dinning room table and beginning class. There are many differences between home school and public school. For example where you learn. Some pros for home school are; you can choose your schedule, low teacher to student ratio, and it teaches a student to be more independent in their learning choices. Some cons are that its usually more expensive than public school, teachers are not always qualified to teach all subjects, its harder to provide social interaction, and colleges sometimes have stricter admission policies for home school students. Some pros for public school are that students learn within a group setting, diverse social education, and more extra-curricular activities available. The cons to public school are; high student- teacher ratio, school chooses curriculum, and less independent learning schedule. There are pros and cons to each option, and they are considered when parents choose what’s right for their child. In my opinion I believe that public school provides a better learning atmosphere for students. I believe this because not only do students learn better social skills but they also get involved with more clubs and sports than most home schooled students.

It must really suck to be home schooled because then you don’t get to meet as many people. You might learn a lot more because the teacher is there just for you but when you go off to college you wont feel comfortable with your environment. I would never like to be home schooled. My cousin wanted to be home schooled because he was having major problems at school but he just ended up moving districts
